1930 - 2017
James Worthington James Worthington Crowley of Dallas,
Texas passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at the
age of 87.
Jim was born on February 18, 1930, in Cookeville, Tennessee
and was the only child of Worth and Jessie Crowley.
The family moved to the Washington DC area in the 1940's where Jim attended Woodrow
Wilson High School (1948) and later received his BA and Juris Doctor from George
Washington University, In 1952,
Jim married Laura Bauserman and they had two children, Ken and Cindy. In 1965, Jim and
Laura were divorced.
Jim married Joyce Ann Goode, and two more children, John and Noelle, were soon added to
the growing family. In 1969, Jim, Joyce and the two younger children relocated to the Dallas
area where he was VP, Corporate Secretary and General Counsel for E-Systems, a major
After 13 years of marriage, Jim and Joyce divorced, and Jim subsequently remarried for the
last time to Carol Diane Golden. Carol brought along her four children, Laurie, Robert, Gary
and Ginger, resulting in an immediate doubling of the Crowley-Golden clan!
Sadly, Carol passed away in 2014.
Jim today is survived by his eight children, James Kenneth and wife Beatriz Crowley, Laura
Cynthia Kiser, John Worthington Crowley, Noelle Virginia Crowley, Laurie Golden Dees and
husband Ken Dees, Robert James and wife Amy Golden, Gary Brian and wife Carissa
Golden, and Ginger Golden Tow and husband Brent Tow; thirteen grandchildren, James
Jeffrey Crowley, Katherine Marie Crowley, Jacob Houston Kiser (deceased), Laura Annalise
Kiser, Brent Robert Golden, Bryan Hunter Golden, Cody Taylor Golden, Chandler Golden
Waite and husband Matt Waite, Conor Golden, Christen Alexandria Crowley, James Colin
Dees, Preston Wayne Tow and Chase Golden Tow and one great-granddaughter Blaise
Visitation will be at Restland Memorial Park on Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 5:00 - 8:00
p.m. and a memorial service will be held on November 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., also at
