Of Montgomery Village, MD died on October 1, 2016.
A Native of Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the
late Henry H, and Mary V. Carter. For much of her life, she
devoted herself to education both as a teacher and as a
school administrator, in Missouri and in DC Schools.
She was also a trustee of Glenwood Cemetery, and served
as trustee, treasurer and Sunday school teacher at Fourth
Church of Christ, Scientist, Washington, DC.

Washington, DC on Friday October 7, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 8 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Glenwood
Cemetery, 2219 Lincoln Road NE, Washington, DC.
Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD.
