Edward "Ted" Waldron

Edward "Ted" Waldron, 85, of Damascus, died peacefully on January 23, 2018 at Friend's
Nursing Home in Sandy Spring, MD.

Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Leo J Waldron, and Carol Les Veaux
Waldron.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Linda Smith Waldron in 1989, son Keith
Waldron in 1994, and sister Martha Weiler.

He is survived by his wife Jane, daughter Elizabeth McNamara, and husband Joe, of Port
ORange , FL. son Andrew Waldron of Columbia, MD, and two grandchildren, Ben and Ian
McNamara.... Also surviving is a brother, Richard Waldron of Port Angeles, WA., stepsons
Jay Reynolds, his wife, Katie and daughter Mina, John Reynolds, and numerous nieces and
nephews.

Ted enlisted in the Navy after graduating from
Woodrow Wilson High School in 1950. He
was active during the Korean conflict, stationed in Sand Diego and Key West. He later
attended the University of MD majoring in Business Admin. He was a member of the Kappa
Alpha Fraternity.

Ted became a successful entrepreneur opening Town and Country Floors in 1968 in
Bethesda. The business operated for 47 years, until 2015. In his spare time Ted enjoyed
boating and gardening. He served as a Boy Scout Packmaster, and was active in the Kiwanis
Club and Gaithersburg Chamber of Commerce.

A Memorial Service will be held March 17th at 1 PM at the Damascus United Methodist
Church.
