Clare Hardy Johnson, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died Saturday, October 21, 1995
in Los Angeles, California.

Born September 29, 1942 in Ogden, Utah; spent childhood in Salt Lake City and Washington,
D.C.;
1960 graduate of Wilson High School, graduate of Wellesley College, 1964;
graduate of UCLA, 1969. Married in the Salt Lake Temple, June 23, 1964.

Active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Westwood Ward.Family
member who will honor her example include: husband, Jonathan Edwin Johnson II; sons,
Jonathan, South Pasadena; Hardy, New York City; Benjamin, Los Angeles; Adam, Provo;
Rufus, Curitiba, Brazil; Bradford, Provo; Roger, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Ralph, Los Angeles,
Calif.; mother, Maren Eccles Hardy, Chevy Chase, Maryland; brother, Ralph W. Hardy, Jr.,
Potomac, Maryland; and David E. Hardy, Salt Lake City; sisters, Alison H. Decker, Mesa,
Arizona; and Maren H. Hale, Provo, Utah; grandsons, David, Jonathan and Porter.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 25, 1995 at the Westwood Ward
Meetinghouse, 10740 Ohio Avenue, Los Angeles, California.
