Betty Lu Hobart Lebling

Betty Lu Hobart Lebling, age 87 of Adamstown, died Friday,
June 24, 2016 at Buckingham's Choice in Adamstown. Born
October 1, 1928 in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the
daughter of the late Richard Loren Hobart Sr. and the late
Bonnie Alyce Taylor Hobart. She was the wife of the late Peter
David Lebling Sr. They were married for over 60 years.

Betty moved to Washington, DC in 1935 and was a graduate of
Woodrow Wilson High
School (1946).
She was an active volunteer and charter member of Faith United Methodist
Church in Rockville. She had been a secretary with AAA and was a homemaker for most of
her life. She was an avid crafter and very devoted mother, grandmother and great
grandmother.

Surviving are son P. David Lebling Jr. and his wife Janet Rothrock of Concord, MA,
daughter Bonnie Lebling Holston and her husband Brake of Monrovia, son Steven Loren
Lebling of Potomac, sister Barbara Seitz and her husband John, of Potomac, grandchildren
Stacie Zupnik and her husband Steven, Carrie Holston, Andrew Lebling, Kathleen Lebling,
and Elizabeth Lebling, and great grandchildren Sean Zupnik, Sara Zupnik and Grace Hayter.

She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Loren Hobart, Jr..

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Faith United
Methodist Church, 6810 Montrose Rd., Rockville, MD 20852.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 1850
York Rd., Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
