George Galt Bready
George Galt Falls Church Attorney Age 87, a long time resident of Falls Church, who was
a self employed attorney for over 53 years, died May 1st at the Sunrise Senior Living
facility in Falls Church, VA.
Mr. Bready grew up in Herndon, VA and graduated from Western High School in
Washington, D.C. in 1947. He earned a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1950 and a
B.L. from the University of Virginia in 1952.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for two years from 1952 to 1954.
His first wife, the former Peggy Holt Waring died in 1999. His oldest son, George Galt
Bready, Jr. died in 2011.
Survivors includes his wife, Anne G. Styles of Helena, Mt, his sons Benjamin C. of Dulles,
VA, Samuel E. of Chesterfield, VA., Elmar W. of Waxhaw, NC and seven grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA on Saturday,
July 15, 2017 at 11 AM.
