Evelyn Karin Beeken Reynolds

Of Falls Church, VA passed away on February 15, 2018 surrounded by loving family. She
was 83.

Coey was born on October 7, 1934 to William Henry Beeken of England and Elsa
Burglund of Sweden. She grew up in Washington, DC. She was in the 1953 graduating
class from
Western High School (now known as the Duke Ellington School for the Arts)
where some of her classmates became lifelong friends. She dedicated her life to raising
and nurturing her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, brother, Anders Beeken and sister,
Ingrid Welch.

She is survived by her children, Michael Reynolds (Bonnie), Karin Abt (Bob), David
Reynolds (Joan), Douglas Reynolds, Betsy Stiehm (Chuck) and Kristy Burke (Walter), 25
grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a partridge in a pear tree.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Valley Funeral Service,
14116 S. Middle Road, Edinburg, VA. She will be laid to rest next to her husband of 43
years at Oakwood Cemetery, 401 N Roosevelt Street, Falls Church, VA 22044, following
the service.

Our family would like to give sincere thanks to Coey's caregivers at the Skyline Terrace -
Memory Lane Assisted Living in Woodstock, Virginia. They are wonderful and caring
people who enhanced the last months of her life.
