Virginia Beach - Evelyn Betty Keagy, 87, passed away March
18, 2013 at Virginia Beach General Hospital.

She was born May 30, 1925 in Washington DC, the daughter
of Wilbert T. and Nellie G. Kuhn Imlay, Sr. She attended
Strayer's Business College night school while working for
Capital Airlines after graduating from
Western High School,
Feb. 1943.
In Oct. 1944 she married Charles O. Keagy, Jr.,
a U.S. Army Warrant Officer from Portsmouth, VA. He
preceded her death in 2000. She was also predeceased by her brother, Wilbert T. Imlay,
Jr.

She is survived by her three sons; Charles, III and wife, Diane Keagy of Cary, NC; Alan
and wife, Cindy Keagy of Montpelier, VA; and Craig Keagy of Virginia Beach, VA. She
has been blessed with six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was
especially fond of her niece, Janice Imlay Hand of Williamsburg, VA, who has been
especially close and supportive in recent years.

Hollomon-Brown Funeral, Great Neck Chapel is assisting the family with services.

private memorial service will be held at a later date.
