Betty Koepenick Crosby (Nana) passed away Wednesday,
Dec 2nd just shy of her 92nd birthday. A native Washingtonian
and five year resident of Asbury Village in Gathersburg, MD,
she attended
Western High School (1941) and worked at
the Rationing Board during WWll.

She married Glen Koepenick Sr. in 1944 and later moved to
Rockville, MD where she and her husband opened Abode
Hardware and later Glen J. Koepenick Realty. After her
husband's death, she met and married Edwin "Ted" Crosby,
her husband from 1972 until his death in 2010. An avid traveler,
she enjoyed numerous trips and with family and friends.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church and Congressional Country Club.

She is survived by an extensive family: her son, Glen Koepenick, Jr. and wife Kelly of
Charleston, SC; daughters, Dale Koepenick and husband Jim Sheaffer and Judy
Mistretta and husband, John Mistretta, DDS of Bethesda; and stepchildren, Lucia Crosby
of Hilton Head, NC; Mark Crosby of Ijamsville, MD; Richard Crosby of Millstadt, IL; and
Jonathan Crosby of Houston, TX and their spouses, 18 grandchildren and 13
great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL
HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Ave., Bethesda, MD on Sunday, December 6th from 7-9PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200
Kentsdale Dr., Potomac MD on Monday, December 7th at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to the Asbury
Village Benevolent Care Fund,
