Betty Jean Kirchner (nee Tucker) passed away peacefully
December 27, 2020 in Richmond, Virginia.

Born in Washington, DC on March 6, 1924, she was raised
in Georgetown. She attended
Western High School
(1942)
in Washington, DC and later Washington and Lee High School in Arlington, VA.

Betty married Donald Kirchner of Arlington, VA in 1941. Their marriage lasted 37 years.

Betty worked as a secretary for the Signal Corps at Arlington Hall in the 1950's. Later she
would work 22 years as a secretary for the CIA in Langley, VA until her retirement in 2001.

Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Purcell, of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Betty is survived by her daughters Donna Wilson of Richmond, VA and Linda Lewis of
San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private with the Inurnment to occur at a later date at National
Memorial Park in Falls Church, VA at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in her name to the USO
