Rosemary was a 1945 "Best Dressed" graduate of McKinley Tech High School (1945) in
Washington DC. In addition to her role as a loving mother and homemaker, she worked as an
Administrative Assistant for Montgomery County Public Schools and after 20 years retired in
Upon retirement, she moved to Leisure World and lived there for 32 years. Her active life
included interests such as Tae Chi classes, Italian Club, Republican Club and the Singles Club.
Rosemary was an avid golfer and cherished her Hole-In-One at the Leisure World Golf Club in
1998. Bridge was a lifelong passion and she achieved the status of Life Master from the
American Contract Bridge League in 1987. She was a devout Catholic, worshiping and
volunteering her time at Our Lady of Grace at Leisure World.
Rosemary's long and fulfilled life ended under the compassionate care of Gilchrist Hospice and
her loving caregivers at Brighton Gardens of Columbia, Maryland where she lived since 2016.
A private service and inurnment will be held. In honor of her memory, condolences can be made
directly to Alzheimer's Association Greater Maryland Chapter.
