Donald Campbell Kinder

Donald Campbell Kinder, of 3807 Forest Grove Drive, Annandale, Virginia, passed away
suddenly at his home on February 2, 2018.

Don was born on September 16, 1932, in Winston Salem, North Carolina, and was the son of
the late Elwood and Mildred Campbell Kinder. Don was a graduate of
McKinley Technical
High School (1950)
in Washington, D. C. and attended the University of Maryland.

Don retired after 46 years as a sales associate with Capitol Cadillac in Washington, D. C. and
Lindsay Cadillac in Alexandria, Virginia.

An avid Redskins fan his entire life, Don enjoyed attending games until his health declined. Don
was an avid boater for many years and was a lifetime member of Old Dominion Boat Club in
Alexandria, Virginia, where he served as a former president.

Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Donaldson Kinder, of the home and his two
stepchildren, Denise Boiko and husband Mike of Isle of Palms, SC and Douglas Rinaca and
wife Freada of Union, SC. Step-grandchildren include Danielle Goglia ( Michael) of Millstone,
New Jersey; Rhett Rinaca ( Kristy) of Laurens, SC; and Franklin Rinaca (Danielle) of Mount
Pleasant, SC and six great-grandchildren.
