Eunice Louise Murray Frazier, 67, who was an X-ray technician at Greater Southeast Community Hospital for 33 years, died Nov.
2 of respiratory failure due to lung cancer at Washington Hospital Center. She lived in Fort Washington
Ms. Frazier, a native Washingtonian, graduated from McKinley Technical High School and attended Howard University for a
year. She switched to Thomas Jefferson University of Philadelphia, where she graduated with a certificate in X-ray technology in
After returning to Washington, she worked briefly for the veterans hospital before joining Southeast. She retired in 2006.
Ms. Frazier enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting, and nearly every weekend she would rearrange or reupholster furniture,
sew a new outfit or try a new recipe. Detail-oriented, she insisted on adding just the right amount of parsley to garnish a platter
and properly ironing the sheets for her bed.
Her marriage to Richard Frazier ended in divorce.
Survivors include a son, Richard Frazier of Fort Washington, and a grandson.
