Patricia Ruth Pearson
Patricia Ruth Pearson was born June 9, 1930 in Washington, D.C.
and died November 8, 2020 in The Villages, FL.
She was predeceased by her parents Patrick Bryan McKenna and
Ruth Downs Yesbek and sister Bedra Yesbek, and her late husband
She is survived by a sister, Georgann Yesbek, and her children
Andrew & wife, Trina, Maureen and husband Paul, and Mark and wife Terry; as well as eight
grandchildren and six great grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
Patricia grew up in Washington, D.C., attending St. Patrick's Academy (1948) and then St.
Joseph College in Emmitsburg, MD.
Patricia's life was dedicated to serving others, especially her family. This commitment was
notable in the bed and breakfast she owned and operated in Montross, Virginia.
Always an adventurer, she sold her home in Montross, bought an RV, and hit the road. Though
her travel continued on a global scale, she felt the need for a home and found that in The
Villages, Florida. Upon her move to Florida, not content to simply take care of herself, she
worked for nearly 20 years in local dentistry practices serving as office assistant and the office
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and lived the last year of her life at the Carriage
House where she enjoyed making new friends.
She will be missed. Her family is consoled in knowing that they loved her as much as she
loved them, she always said, "I Love You More". She was a singular lady.
A service will be held in the near future, due to Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cornerstone Hospice Foundation or to a charity
of your choice in her memory.
