ORAZIO F. MICELI
Of Jeffersonton, VA died on November 5, 2018 after a four
year battle with cancer. He was 65 years old.
Orazio was born and raised in Washington, DC on
December 29,1952 to Frank and Vera Miceli. He attended
St John's College High school (1970) in Washington, DC.
He received a BA in history and political science, from Wheeling Jesuit University. He
furthered his education and received a Masters degree in Urban Planning, from the
University of Maryland, College Park.
He worked for the US Supreme Court, The Washington Board of realtors, and a grocery
chain. He was an avid sports fan who loved his local teams.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Miceli and his brother, John.
He leaves behind beloved wife Debbie Miceli; daughter Sasha Fitzmaurice and son-in-law
Sean Fitzmaurice; grandchildren Colin and Maddison Grace; mother Vera Miceli; sisters
Nina Guthridge (Tom), Maria Sawyer (Tim) and Frances Whetstone (Shawn); and seven
nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to honor the life of Orazio Miceli will be held on November 17, 2018 at 1
p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Marshall, 8405 Main Street, Marshall, VA 20115.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to provide contributions to The Supreme Court
