Robert JOSEPH Anzelmo  

Native Washingtonian Robert (Bob) Anzelmo died peacefully
at Collington life care community in Mitchellville on August 7,

He was born October 5, 1932, to Louis and Margaret (Dorr)
Anzelmo, attended parochial schools, graduated
St. Anthony
High School (1950)
in Brookland, and earned Journalism
degrees from Catholic and American universities.

He worked in public affairs for the U.S. Signal Corps and USDA's Agricultural Research
Service, retiring as Assist. Chief of Publications in USDA's Office of Communications. Later,
Mr. Anzelmo worked for the Prince George's Public Library system and volunteered in
Catholic University's Rare Books Library.

He is survived by daughters, Christina (Derek Parks) of University Park, MD, Julie (Ken
Coleman) of Salt Lake City, UT, and Sara (John Scally) of Pasadena, MD; sons, Joseph
(Carrie Morgan) of St. Augustine, FL, and Timothy (Stephannie Hannan) of Ft. Washington,
PA; his sister, Patricia Kainu and brother, Michael, of Silver Spring; six grandchildren, five
nieces and nephews, and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 11 a.m. on September 29 (visitation with family at
10:30 a.m.) at St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church, 135 Crescent Rd., Greenbelt, MD

In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed to So Others Might Eat; 60 "O" St., NW,
Washington, DC 20001;
