NORBERT JOHN MUCKELBAUER, JR.
Of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away peacefully at his son's
home in Columbia, SC on May 28, 2015.
He was born in Washington, DC on October 17, 1936 to Thelma
and Norbert Muckelbauer, Sr.
He was a graduate of St. Anthony's Catholic School (1954)
and Strayer College.
A member of AICPA and dedicated to serving his clients he retired
from a local public accounting firm in 1998, where he had been a partner and enjoyed a
45-year career. He was active in several men's golf associations, an avid reader of history,
and nearly unbeatable at bridge. In his final years, he enjoyed walks with his four legged friend,
Norbert is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Helen; his son, John.
A memorial service to celebrate his life was held on May 29, 2015.
Interment was at the historical Elmwood Cemetery in Columbia, SC on Saturday, May 30,
