Glenn Francis Grady



Of Suwanee, GA died Saturday, April 11, 2015 after a battle with
cancer with his close family at his bedside. He was born August 4,
1947 in Washington, DC to Evelyn and William Grady. He attended
St. Anthony's Catholic High School (1965) in Washington, DC
then served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

After an Honorable Discharge from the service, he worked for Capital Credit Corporation. He
was recruited by and eventually became the Executive Vice President of Credit at the
Woodward and Lothrop department store or "Woodies" as locals knew it in the Washington
DC area. He was honored with the position of Co-Chairman of the Consumer Credit
Association of Greater Washington. After retirement, he moved to Suwanee GA and spent
most of the final years of his life on the Lake in Hartwell, GA.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Julia Ann Grady. Parents, William and Evelyn Grady.
Brothers, Lawrence Grady and Daniel Grady. He is survived by his sons, Sean Grady and
Fiancé Amie of Alpharetta, GA, Scott Grady and Fiancé Sarah of Suwanee, GA.
Granddaughters, Anna Grady, Sara Grady and Tessa Grady. Companion of 9 years Ann
Cooper, Hartwell, GA and her children, Matt and Madeline Cooper of Athens GA, and David
Cooper of Charlotte, NC. Sisters, Beverly Gauvreau, Veronica Alonso and Patricia Seaton.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Hamilton Mill Memorial
Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends
Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
