Paul Mackin Coughlan, Jr.

Paul Mackin Coughlan, Jr. passed away at the age of 91
at his home in Kensington, Maryland on October 19, 2018.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Coughlan and the
late Mary Frances Coughlan. Paul and Patricia together
have five children: Patricia Smith (husband Robert),
William Boesch (partner Linda) Paul Nolan Coughlan
(wife Joanna), Francie Siegfried (husband Brett), and Ann
Coughlan (husband Douglas). They have seven
grandchildren: Ryan Smith (wife Jennifer), Holly Brundage
(partner Daniel), Allen Coughlan, Matilda Siegfried, Oliver Siegfried, Quinn Straus, and
Mitchell Straus. They also have five great grandchildren: Leyla, Dakota, Sophie, Samantha,
and Senna.

Paul grew up in Silver Spring and graduated from
Gonzaga College High School (1945)
and the University of Maryland. He spent most of his career working for the U.S. Patent
Office after serving in the US Army in WW II from 1945-1946.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer
Church at 9705 Summit Avenue in Kensington, Maryland.
