Kenneth W. Butler (Age 85)
Of Montgomery Village, MD died October 8, 2020 at home with family by his side.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Dolores (dec.) father to Catherine (Tom), Kenneth (Tina)
and Jeanine (Alastair), grandfather to Kenneth, Alexis, Jacob, Marina and
great-grandchild, Olive. Brother to Jean (and James) Dunn, and son to Vincent and Isabel
He was remembered by all as a kind and generous gentleman of character and integrity.
Strong, resilient and ever curious, Kenneth loved to engage in thoughtful discussions and
lively political discourse, especially around a shared family table.
A DC. native and graduate of Gonzaga College High School (1953) and Georgetown
University, Ken served in the U.S. Army before working on early computer systems for
Georgetown and The Computer Science Corporation. He served with distinction on the
staff of the U.S Treasury's Commissioner of Public Debt (1972 - 1997).
COVID considerations delay his Trinity Church memorial service until late spring.
