SULLIVAN, Nina Nolte
Nina Sullivan 98, passed away August 8, 2018.
Born in Macon, Georgia April 16, 1920. Nina moved to
Washington, DC at age 14 where she attended Eastern
High School (1938) and was nicknamed "Peaches".
She married Robert Sullivan July 4, 1941 while he was
on leave from the Army. Robert "Bob" fought on Omaha
Beach in World War II. As an Army wife, she lived in the
Washington, DC area, Paris, Tokoyo, and Honolulu.
Nina and Bob retired to Clearwater in 1979 and enjoyed bridge and golf with the
"Niners" at Countryside Country Club.
She is survived by son, Don Sullivan (Kay) of Odessa, FL and daughter, Carol Sullivan
Gall of Palm Harbor, FL; two grandchildren, Kim Sullivan Vekeman (Jeff) and Kevin
Sullivan (Crystal); and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service and interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery.
