JAMES EDWARD FOX "Ed"

It is with great sadness that the family of James Edward "Ed" Fox announce his
passing on September 22, 2018, at the age of 79, after a brave battle with Parkinson's
disease.

A native of Washington DC, he attended
Eastern High School (1957 and
Southeastern University. Ed's entire professional life was dedicated to serving his
country, from serving in the National Guard to over 50 years with the Central
Intelligence Agency. A devoted husband and father, Ed was a man of great strength,
intelligence, humor, kindness and warmth. A friend to all, he was greatly loved and will
be greatly missed.

Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Joanna, his daughter,
Stephanie Fiorenini and his son-in-law, Frank Fiorenini. Ed will also be fondly
remembered by his grandchildren, Payton, Landon, Kyler and Madeleine. Ed was
predeceased by his parents, James and Marie Fox and his brother, William Dearing.

Ed did not wish a funeral, therefore in lieu of a service and if so desired, memorial
donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research
and the Wounded Warrior Project.
