Anne Kurtz  September 1, 1911 - November 2, 2017

Hannah Levy was born On September 1, 1911 in Louisville, Kentucky, the first of nine
children. She later changed her name to Anne for simplicity.

In the early 1920's her family moved to Washington, DC. She attended school,
graduating from
Eastern High School (1930).

Anne embroidered, played piano and became a gourmet cook and baker. She met and
married Joseph Kurtz from London, England. Anne moved back to the United States in
1936. She had two daughters, Helen and Arlene.

She worked for B' nai Brith as a bookkeeper for 20 years. She enjoyed her family and
doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Anne passed on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the age of 106.

Graveside services will be held at King David Memorial Gardens 7400 Lee Hwy, Falls
Church, VA 22042 at 2 p.m.
