Gertrude Mayerhofer Rysdyk

Arundel Medical Center. She had pneumonia and a stroke.

Mrs. Rysdyk was an Annapolis native and resident. She was raised in Washington,
where she was a
1937 graduate of Eastern High School.

Early in her career, she did counter sales work for her family's bakery and worked in the
fiscal accounting department of the Army Quartermaster General's office in Washington.

Her hobbies included crocheting and doing puzzles.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Edward Rysdyk of Annapolis; two daughters,
Robyn Johnson of Laytonsville and Debra Rysdyk of Annapolis; a sister; and three
grandchildren.
