Maude Cutting Cahill, 92, a secretary and volunteer, died of pulmonary edema Dec. 24 at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham. She lived
in Mitchellville.

Mrs. Cahill worked as parish secretary at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in College Park until the mid-1980s. Previously, she had been
assistant to the executive director of the Prince George's County chapter of the American Red Cross.

She was born in Washington and graduated from
Central High School in 1935. She attended the University of Maryland, worked for a
congressman and, during World War II, was employed by the War Department.

Mrs. Cahill was a volunteer for the Bladensburg Lions Club, the Girl Scouts, the Red Cross, St. Andrew's Church and Collington Life Care
Community committees.

Her husband of 42 years, Robert E. Cahill, died in 1988.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Davies of Garnet Valley, Pa.
