BALDASAN, Mary Julia Guyther Court, 90, of
Tampa, passed away on Feb. 22, 2012.

Mary is survived by her sons, Joe, Glenn & Dean
(Benjie); grandchildren, Jenny Lynn (Jim) Custred, Kyle
Baldasan & Jamie Brooke Baldasan, Jessie Newell;
great-grandchildren, Vera & Adelaide Custred &
Aiden Rybinski.

She was born in Piney Point, MD to Fred & Vera Guyther Court. She went to
Piney Point Elementary School,
Central High School in Washington D.C.,
class of '39 and graduated from St. Mary's Junior College.

After graduation, she worked for the government in Washington D.C. for 7
years. While there she met her husband of 32 years, Joseph T. Baldasan Sr.,
who was serving in the U.S. Navy. They traveled to many different duty
stations together, and settled in Tampa in August of 1962.

She then worked for Jim Walters in Celotex Corporation for 17 years before
retiring. Mary was an active member of the J. Clifford MacDonalds Parents
Group, enjoyed playing bridge with friends and belonged to a group called the
Widow Widowers who she played cards and dined with. She was also a
member of the North Tampa Garden Club.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MacDonalds Parents Group,
5420 Cypress Street, Tampa 33607.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 29 from 5-7 pm, and a
funeral service on Thursday, March 1 at 11 am, both at Blount & Curry
Carrollwood Chapel.

Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
