Anne Rubin Bord, 96, a lifelong Washingtonian who did volunteer work for the American Red Cross blood bank and Adas Israel
Congregation's seniors program, died April 8 at Sibley Memorial Hospital. She had complications of pneumonia.
Mrs. Bord was a graduate of the old Central High School and briefly did secretarial work before marrying Ned Bord, who
became a prominent Realtor, broker and investor, in 1934. She became a benefactor to hospitals and Jewish organizations.

She was a member of Woodmont Country Club in Rockville and formerly chaired a nine-hole golfing group for women, among
other women's golfing events.
Her avocations included needlepoint.
Her husband died in 1990.
She had no immediate survivors.
