ELIZABETH CHRISTINA I'ANSON
Elizabeth Christina I'Anson, 93, of Palm City, FL and Great Falls, VA died on
April 5, 2013. She was deeply loved by her family and a joy to all who knew
Born in Evansville Indiana, she graduated from Central High School in
Washington, D.C. She later married and moved to Arlington, VA where she
lived for many years with her husband Robert F.L. I'Anson (deceased in
2007). She was a loving mother and wife, and worked full time as an
Assistant Hydrologist at the U.S. Weather Bureau. After retirement she and
her husband moved to Big Pine Key and then to Palm City, FL.
She is survived by her daughter, Rowena Wolf and son-in-law Richard Wolf
of Great Falls, VA; and son Robert I'Anson and daughter-in-law Sharon
I'Anson of Mason Neck, VA. She was the proud grandmother of four
grandchildren (Rebecca, Lydia, Meghan, and Jennifer) and three great
grandchildren (Chloe, Rylan, and Wyatt).
The family will hold a private interment service at historic Blandford Church
cemetery, in Petersburg, VA.
