William Dominic Allman
William Dominic Jr. 86, of Seminole, passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008.
Bill is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Patricia Allman; daughter Dr. Mary Jo
Brubaker and son-in-law Rev. Daniel L. Brubaker of North Carolina; daughter Dr.
Anne Allman of Missouri; and son Michael J. Allman and daughter-in-law Kathleen
Allman of Tallahassee, FL; grandchildren, Patricia Vir, Daniel A. Brubaker, Matthew
Allman, and Emily Allman; and two great-grand-children, Ajay and Dhruv Vir.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in China to establish weather
patterns for that country during WWII.
Bill retired in 1986 after a 30 year career in public education, first at the old Largo
Junior Senior High School and later at Seminole Senior High School. He was known
as the counselor who always wore bow ties.
For 16 years Bill and his wife owned Hen House Antiques. A long time resident of
Seminole, Bill loved everything the Suncoast has to offer: fishing, the Gulf, birding,
tennis, the public library system, smart bridge players, the county parks, good
friends, and the St. Pete Times.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's name to Bay Pines VAHCS
Hospice or the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
Visitation is Sunday Nov. 2 from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.
The memorial service is Monday, Nov 3, 10:45 am at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
