PAMELA JANE WOODRUFF (Age 75)
Died on Sunday, October 1, 2017, in Olney, MD,
after a brief hospitalization.
She was born in Washington, DC and lived in the
area her whole life. Pam Graduated from
Anacostia High in 1960.
She was predeceased by her husband, Nathan
Haggard Woodruff Jr., MD, in 1991.
She was the mother of Sarah Abigail Woodruff;
grandmother of Abigail Brianna Stark and Kenneth
Samuel Woodruff; and aunt to several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her
mother, Barbara Patton; and two brothers, Bill and Bob.
Pamela was a researcher at the National Cancer Institute before pursuing her
doctorate in psychology and teaching for nearly 40 years at George Washington
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2 p.m., at
Sandy Spring Monthly Meeting.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name could be made to the Sandy Spring Monthly
Meeting or to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation.
